The good grinding ability, wide application, low price make Brown fused alumina the most basic abrasive material. Brown fused alumina is often used as replacement in other abrasives' absence.

l  Brown fused alumina is used to make coated and bonded abrasives tools, lapping and polishing process, sandblasting, producing mold of precision casting,grinding wheels like both vitrified and resin bonded.

l  Being a hard and tough material making it an excellent abrasive grain for applications such as sandpaper, blasting media, metal preparation , ect.

l  Its thermal properties and low iron content make it an excellent raw material for refractory applications like high alumina refractory, high alumina fired and monolithic refractory products like bricks and pre-cast shapes.
